With her extensive elder care experience, Debra understands the challenges older adults and their families face when planning for care, support, and quality of life.
Debra joined Burzynski Elder Law after spending twenty years as an Elder Care Coordinator with a law firm in Nashville, Tennessee.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Tennessee and Florida, Debra has long been dedicated to supporting older adults, families, and the professionals who serve them. Through her work with the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, she helped develop educational programs for care coordinators. She is also a principal of Life Care Consulting LLC, a former consulting firm that helped attorneys build successful Life Care Planning law practices.
Debra completed a 120-hour Elder Care Coordination course through the University of Florida and the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, earning a Certificate of Completion. She also completed End-of-Life Doula training, which prepares her to provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals who are dying and to their families.
Outside of work, Debra enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, relaxing at the beach, visiting Disney, scrapbooking, and preserving memories from her travels and family history.
